What treatment are you on for PBC?
What current or past treatments have you been on for PBC? And what has your treatment experience been like?
I've been on ursodiol 500 mg twice a day for 35 years and never had a problem. Just recently I've been having pain under my breast but the doctor said its a muscle. I also have a sliding hernia which is giving me problems. I have been experiencing alot of fatigue. I shouldn't complain I do tolerate it.
I think my doctor was the first to say that this will be called cholingistes in years to come and he was right. Unfortunately he retired about 10 years ago.That’s a long time to be on the same treatment without experiencing any problems! So I can imagine how frustrating it can be when new symptoms arise and you're trying to figure out where that's stemming from. And to add the fatigue on top of it all, that's another beast that's hard to fight also. is there a particular formula the dr uses to determine the mg of ursodiol?
